My Kid is Super Cute

Those of you on Facebook have already seen this pic, but I just love it, so here it is again. Mayra does such a great job with her pony hair...I can't make it look this good!

I Climbing!

Sam's latest thing is to try and climb everything. Curiously, she still hasn't tried to climb out of her crib which is great news to me!

One foot up...

Maybe this will go better without my sunglasses...
Wow, that's one tall tree!

Party Party, Sam Loves to Party

Saturday we went to Sam's friend Matthew's 3rd Birthday party. She had a blast! Tomorrow I'll post a picture of the finished letter "S" that is now proudly hanging in her room.

Painting her "S." I had the choice of a lot of things for her to paint, including a Jets helmet, but I was afraid it would end up being blue and red, lol. I'm trying to teach her letters now since she can already read numbers, so every day I tell her how to spell Sam but she hasn't quite gotten it yet. She did do almost all of the painting by herself except for a few blank spots I filled in at the end, and she cried when she had to stop painting.

Messy after painting her S:

Parachute games--she loves the parachute in her gym class at the Y, too.

Awwww, dancing with a little boy named Jayden:

Mmmmmm the best part, ice cream!

Gym Class

Enjoy this picture of Sam on the balance beam, and the video of her jumping over cones. LOL. I actually couldn't believe that it's been a week since I've posted--I am really behind so I should be able to update a few times this week with all of the pics I have!

Sam Astaire

When we changed Sam into her jammies tonight, she cried for her black shoes which she just started wearing on a regular basis. We couldn't figure out what she was saying until I realized she wanted her "tap dancing" shoes! I have no idea where she learned this...

Happy Halloween!

Daddy was in Philly for the World Series this weekend, so Sam and I did trick-or-treating solo (only fair, Daddy did it solo last year). We went to the stores on a nearby street, where we got a lot of "she's so cute!" (yes, yes she is). It started to sprinkle so we met Chris and his parents in the building where we did a little more trick or treating. I haven't given Sam any candy since Saturday because she was turning into a little candy monster. She particularly likes lollipops and constantly begs for them.

And she clearly doesn't get the concept--this morning she woke up and first thing told me she wanted to be a lion and go get candy. Next year, sweetie. :-)
